Abby’s House asks for help to continue assisting homeless women

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit us all, however, the impact is remarkably tough on the non-profits that are not collecting enough money but getting extra demand due to the increased needs of their beneficiaries. That is the case of Abby’s House.

Named in honor of American abolitionist and advocate for women’s rights Abby Kelley Foster, the Abby’s House organization will run a 7-day virtual giving campaign starting May 7th, 2020, to raise enough funds to continue giving shelter to women experiencing homelessness in the Worcester area.

“The needs of the women and children who rely on Abby’s House have only increased since the virus hit the U.S.,” stated the organization in a press release.
