Abby’s House in Worcester is continuing to provide shelter, affordable housing, and supportive services for women in Worcester County, helping them regain their footing on the path to independence. With the help of a $5,000 grant from People’s United Community Foundation, the charitable arm of People’s United Bank, Abby’s House is providing high-quality overnight shelter, affordable housing, and wrap-around advocacy & support services for approximately 500 low-income women and their families throughout the year.
