At a Worcester Board of Health meeting earlier this week, the city agreed to partner with nearly 40 community organizations to reach folks who remain hesitant about received the COVID-19 vaccine.
The agreement was reached without a lot of fanfare by design.
Through research conducted by the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts, which provided $100,000 to help launch the “Get Worcester Vaccinated” campaign, the best way to alleviate hesitation about the vaccine was determined to be isn’t through one-on-one conversations.
