There is an African proverb that says, “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” The Counseling and Assessment Clinic of Worcester, LLC is proud of how far we have gone, can go, and will go in partnership with Abby’s House to support the women and children who call Abby’s House home.
Strong women, especially when allied, move our communities forward. Throughout history the collaboration of women has helped to address pressing societal needs. Whether starting orphanages, acting as healers and care providers, or teachers, women have been leaders in building stronger, safer communities in ways that have not always been traditionally recognized by society as invaluable.
Abby’s House has been an integral part of these women-led social efforts for over 43 years. As a fellow woman owned business with a social focus, CAC is proud to collaborate with Abby’s House again this year as the presenting sponsor of Spring-Tacular.
We know first-hand what the empowerment of women can do for a community’s social well-being. When women have the tools to provide for themselves, they can then extend their work to uplifting their community. By empowering some of our society’s most vulnerable women with basic resources like a place to call home and access to behavioral health, agencies like Abby’s House and CAC contribute to the betterment of society at large and enable the women we serve to contribute to the social good as well, both today and in the years to come.
