In the early hours of Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the Abby’s House Thrift Shop was burglarized. After spending several hours reviewing the available camera footage, we are grateful to report that clear images of the individual responsible were captured and have been shared with the Worcester Police Department.
Fortunately, nothing of significant value was taken, and everyone is safe. While this has been an unnerving experience for our team, we remain committed to the safety and security of our community and are working closely with local authorities on this matter.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring support from our community members, and we recognize how important the Thrift Shop is to the people we serve. Abby’s House continues to stay focused on our mission to support the women and children of our community.
