This year, International Women’s Day is centered around the campaign #GiveToGain. A reminder that when we give, we all move forward together.

At Abby’s House, that idea gave us pause.

Honoring the Women Who Came Before Us

We spend a lot of time honoring the women who came before us…and rightly so! Thinking about Abby Kelley Foster’s legacy, our very own Annette Rafferty, and all of those who made Abby’s House possible, it’s impossible not to. Their courage and commitment opened doors that have changed lives for generations.

Flipping the Script

This year, we want to do something a little different.

We want to honor the women coming right behind us. The ones navigating a time of great uncertainty and fear, looking for reassurance, strength, and a reminder that they are not alone.

A Simple Way to Lift Someone Up

When you purchase a postcard in someone’s honor, you’re lifting her up and encouraging her to keep the momentum going. Each postcard includes two mini wallet cards:

• One for her to keep as a reminder of her own strength

• One for her to pass along to another woman, continuing the ripple of support
