Empowering women

Advocacy Services

Each woman staying in our shelter or living in our housing is assigned her own Advocate, who helps her identify realistic goals and assists her in identifying the tools she needs to achieve them. Our Advocates are dedicated professionals who work closely with each woman to understand her unique circumstances and challenges. They provide personalized support and guidance, helping women navigate through various services and resources available within the community.

Whether it’s finding employment, securing permanent housing, accessing healthcare, or continuing education, our Advocates empower women to take charge of their lives and move towards self-sufficiency. By fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment, our Advocates ensure that each woman feels heard, respected, and motivated to overcome obstacles. This holistic approach not only addresses immediate needs but also lays the foundation for long-term stability and success.

At Abby’s House, we believe in the potential of every woman, and our Advocates are committed to helping them realize their dreams and build a brighter future.
