Abby’s House operates 72 single room supportive housing units for women and 7 two-bedroom apartments for women and children in three buildings in Worcester.
Accessing Housing
Waitlist applications for Single Room Occupancy (SRO) units and Two-Bedroom Apartments are available. Please complete the appropriate form in its entirety and mail back to:

Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Units
Eligibility
- No use of alcohol or illegal substances
- Evidence of ability to maintain safe and decent living conditions
- Meets income requirements
- Evidence of ability to pay rent on time
- Women only
Rent/Lease
- Monthly rent is $550-$625
- Rental assistance may be available according to income
- Housing vouchers are accepted
- Lease is for one year
- No pets
Utilities/Appliances
- Heat, water, and electric are included in the rent
- Tenant is responsible for cable and telephone
- Room is furnished with bed, bureau, and small fridge

- Advocacy and support services available
- Membership to the Abby’s House Women’s Center
- Coin-op washer and dryer onsite
- Fenced outdoor courtyard
- Security cameras
- Limited parking; parking garages nearby
Affordable, 2-Bedroom Apartments
Eligibility
- No use of alcohol or illegal substances
- Evidence of ability to maintain safe and decent living conditions
- Income between $15,000 and $40,000
- Evidence of ability to pay rent on time
- Women and children
Rent/Lease
- Monthly rent is $1,036
- Housing vouchers are accepted
- Rental assistance from Abby’s House may be available according to income
- Lease is for one year
- No pets
Utilities/Appliances
- Heat and water are included in the rent
- Tenant is responsible for electric, cable, and telephone
- Stove, refrigerator, and microwave included
- Tenant is responsible for all other furnishings
