The city’s population swells this time of year, with an influx of college students. For freshmen, much will be learned about Worcester in the coming years. Here are few helpful things to know.

1. Looking to take out the earbuds and listen to live music? The Palladium in downtown Worcester is a go-to place for bands. The stage over the years has welcomed Jay-Z, The Cult and Slipknot.
